Ushahidi's community has many datasets. We want to help you release this data for research and learning. This means working with Data Cleaning Guidelines, CSV Upload Guide and Security and Privacy Resources.

Outline of the project:

1. Software: Are there existing data cleanup tools? University of Chicago Data Science for social good fellows are looking at a software way to standardize basic data cleaning.
2. Manual: Clean existing datasets that folks want to release. This includes datasets across many Types of Maps including Haiti, Kenya, and Nepal.
3. Guidelines: Build Data Cleaning Guidelines
4. Programs and Training: Create community training programs to help the community release the data. eg. Learning from the School of Data with Data Expeditions and more
