Online Reporting technologies are increasingly becoming part of the Anti-corruption Activist toolkit.  Ushahidi has seen a rise of community mappers mapping corruption either as individuals or connected to mapping or civil society organizations.

As this area of mapping grows, organizations, researchers, and civil society organizations have the opportunity to provide the technical community guidelines to improve the creation and use of new online technologies to support the growth of online reporting and mentor individuals within the International Anti-Corruption communities.

There are a number of core requirements to consider for anti-corruption mapping: what are some guidelines for creating new technology to assist this user group? What are the guidelines for users (re: security, privacy concerns)? How can new technology organizations and anti-corruption activists create and share est practices? For example, Usahididi recommends that anti-corruption activists should receive training from Tactical Tech or other like organizations.

At the International Anti-Corruption Conference (November 2012) the following draft Table of Contents was created. Many of these items are  covered in other Ushahidi toolkits and wiki pages.
