How to Get involved

Before you do anything else, you will need to download and install Ushahidi v3, then follow our developer guide and pick a feature to work on. Be sure to leave a comment on the task to let us know you are working on it!

    Julius, someone made a Windows Phone 8 App for my deployment trashswag.com. This follows some recent publicity around this map. I wonder what would be involved in making the App unbranded and available to other mappers as an App?

    Trashswag is currently running on Ushahidi 2.7. 

    Relating to this App, I posted an issue on Github yesterday via this person: https://github.com/ushahidi/Ushahidi_Web/issues/1153

    I'm not sure if it can easily be applied to 3X or not but if it can it could be that his efforts are reusable.

    Let me know if you'd like to look into recycling his work to make it an "available for all" App as opposed to Trashswag.com only.
