FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES ONLY

The information in this wiki hasn't been maintained for a good while. Some of the projects described have since been deprecated.

In particular, the "Ushahidi Platform v3.x" section contains information that is often misleading. Many details about this version of Platform have changed since.

This website is an extraction of the original Ushahidi wiki into a static form. Because of that, functions like logging in, commenting or searching will not work.

Loren has two big projects that need Ushahidi development help.  "We need for our implementation (Reporting of illegal activities in a Borneo rain forest)  is to 1) add a layer of anonymity (just a layer not total anon) to SMS reporting, and 2) add a time-delay to the public display of reports. (logged in users see them real-time, public sees them delayed by a specified time)." If you are interested, respond to her request on the Ushahidi developer mailing list (to sign up).
