Uchaguzi Kenya 2013 – Trusted Election Monitor Cards
This list is used by election observers who work with us. We preloaded their names and mobile phone numbers into the platform and geo-locate them in advance to the constituency they have been assigned to observe the election from. The platform can then convert the code to text. For example, to indicate polling station not open on time they would sms 1 to 3002. On the platform it would show up as “Polling station not open on time.”
If someone who is not on the preloaded list of mobile numbers sends an SMS with one of the following codes it would not be processed and the number would simply appear in the body of the sms.
