FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES ONLY

The information in this wiki hasn't been maintained for a good while. Some of the projects described have since been deprecated.

In particular, the "Ushahidi Platform v3.x" section contains information that is often misleading. Many details about this version of Platform have changed since.

This website is an extraction of the original Ushahidi wiki into a static form. Because of that, functions like logging in, commenting or searching will not work.

  1. Hi Folks,

Call is past my bedtime (1 AM local) but I have some SwiftRiver questions:

    - Where do I post feedback? Lots of things worked great. A few things didn't. I'd like to share both.

    - There appears to be SwiftRiver road map on the wiki. But the pages don't appear to contain any content:

    https://wiki.ushahidi.com/display/WIKI/SwiftRiver+Roadmap

    - Will project be available in GitHub for checkout, bug fix requests and possible contribution the project?

    - Are there any help videos AND would you be interested in me creating a short how-to video showing how to setup River and define bucket?

Looking forward to hearing the audio of the call later this week.

    Regards,

    Dan

    1. HI Dan, Thanks so much.

Swift Feedback can be added to this form. We'd love your feedback. The Swift Team is adding content to FAQ and revising the roadmap as I type :)

And, it is with pleasure that I tell you that the Swift Code is now on Github.

Thanks so much for the video offers. I think that those two videos would be very helpful.

      1. I just listened to the July 2012 Community Call. Thanks for posting it. It is great to be able to go back and listen later especially when time zone doesn't work. August call perfect for me (6:00 PM Dublin) so I'll definitely join the call then. FYI, link to the audio page for the July call is to a file named "community-2012-05-28.mp3". The file contents are indeed for July 2012, but the filename is out of sync.
Congratulations to the team on the open source release of SwiftRiver! My colleagues are downloading and installing it as I type. I'll be adding my feedback to the Wiki and Github shortly.
Great to hear the update from OsCon. http://www.oscon.com/oscon2012/public/schedule/detail/24259. I didn't make it to the conference but some on my team did and they were glad to get the opportunity to be present for the Ushahidi talk. Is there a video of the talk?
Thanks again and talk to everyone in the August 2012 call,
        Dan

Thanks too for the link to the SwiftRiver feedback form. I'll organize and submit a consolidated list of comments there too.
